Executive MBA - 2 yrs

Eligibility Criteria

1. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA. 2. Candidates having professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CS (with at least 50 percent aggregate marks) can also apply. 3. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification should be: (i) from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 or, (ii) recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India or, (iii) possess an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE or Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 4. Work Experience (i) A minimum of three years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience as of 1st January 2025 is desirable. To be eligible for the programme, the candidate has to be currently working/employed full-time. (ii) The total number of months of work experience completed (as of 1st January 2025) will be considered. Only full-time and paid experience will be considered. Part-time/Project/Internship/CA Articleship/Apprenticeship/Pre-graduation work experience/ work experience which involves payment as stipend will not be counted as work experience. (iii) For work experience in multiple organizations, all the durations (months and days) will be added to arrive at the total experience. For example, if the total work experience is 13 months and 25 days, it will be considered 13 months. A valid proof of the date of appointment, work experience certificate, and proof of payment/salary will have to be made available for verification at any stage of application and be submitted at the time of registration for the program. (iv) For candidates having work experience in the family business or own business venture, valid proofs of the existence of the business, association, and role of the individual in the business and proof of payment during work experience will be required. It will be the candidate’s responsibility to provide documents as and when required by the Admissions Office.

Selection Process

Candidates for Executive MBA (Hybrid) need to appear for a screening examination conducted by IIM Nagpur (IIM Nagpur Aptitude Test – IIMNAT) to be considered for admission to the Executive MBA (Hybrid) programme. IIMNAT will consist of questions that evaluate a candidate’s quantitative, verbal, logical, and data interpretive abilities.

Admission Process

1. Candidates are required to fill a detailed application form within a stipulated date (tentatively by 18th November, 2025). It is suggested that candidates check the admissions policy for eligibility criteria before filling the application form and have the supporting documents ready for verifications. 2. Candidates who complete the application form and clear the preliminary eligibility checks will be issued admit cards for screening examination IIMNAT. A shortlist for the Personal Interview (PI) will be released in the third week of December, 2025 based on the IIMNAT scores. 3. Candidates who are shortlisted at the end of stage 2 will have to attend the PI. Only candidates who appeared for the PI will be considered for the preparation of the final merit list. Admission offers will be sent to the successful candidates based on their Final Score. The Final Score will be computed based on the Screening Examination performance, past academic performance, and personal interview.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - 2 yrs

Eligibility Criteria

1. The CAT 2025 score is the single criterion used as the basis for arriving at the shortlist in this stage. Only candidates with positive scores (>0) in all sections of the CAT will be considered for the admission process. 2. Candidates who would like to pursue their candidature for admission to MBA at IIM Nagpur must fill the application form for CAP 2026 before the deadline.

Selection Process

1. Only those candidates who meet the minimum CAT 2025 percentile requirements and have filled the CAP 2025 application form by the stipulated date will be considered in Stage 2 of the admission process. 2. Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). 3. Candidates who have submitted the application form, have been shortlisted for PI and WAT in Stage 2, and have confirmed their interest in appearing for the PI and WAT will be required to appear for a PI and WAT to be conducted by CAP on the given time slot. The interviews are likely to be scheduled in Feb-March 2025. 4. For the computation of Final Score (FS), an applicant’s holistic profile is considered involving CAT score, PI score, WAT score, Past Academic Performance (PAP) score, Work experience rating (WE) and Gender Diversity (GDI).

Admission Process

1. Candidates who have appeared for CAT 2025 will be first screened for eligibility as per the CAT cut-offs decided by the CAP consortium. Candidates who clear the CAT cut-off would be intimated by email and asked to fill an application form for CAP. 2. Candidates who meet the CAT cut-offs and have filled the application form for CAP in the CAP portal will move to Stage 2, where offline PI and WAT will be conducted. The exact dates for PI and WAT will be communicated by the coordinating institute for CAP 2025 on behalf of all eight participating IIMs in CAP. 3. Candidates who appear for the PI and WAT will be considered for this stage, where the Final Score (FS) will be calculated. Admission offers will be sent to the candidates based on their FS.
