The University extends special financial support to students who are unable to pay the fee due to the loss of an earning parent after securing admission at UPES and submitting full fees for at least one semester.
1. The student must maintain or improve academic performance each semester. 2. The student must not have any NC (Not Clear) or backlog in any semester. However, in exceptional cases, the Registrar can use his discretion and recommend the case to the Vice Chancellor for approval. This will not set a precedent for future cases. 3. The student must have no disciplinary action initiated or sanctioned against them and must comply with all university norms and policies as revised from time to time. 4. The financial support applies only to the upcoming semester(s). 5. The support is provided only for one semester at a time. Students seeking an extension in next semester must submit a fresh application along with their latest grade card, once a notification is issued by the Department of Student Welfare (DSW).
